FotoMorph 13.4.2 Portable
Digital imaging and graphic design software is often the victim of one of two problems: either it's too advanced for everyone but expert users, or it's too basic to do anything very useful. FotoMorph is one of the rare programs that manage to deliver impressive results with very little know-how. This fun application lets users create animations that morph one photo into another, no experience required.
The program's interface is attractive and intuitive. It does contain some advertising, but it's fairly unobtrusive. We appreciated the fact that the program comes with a sample project, allowing users to see exactly how a particular result was achieved. With FotoMorph, users can create animated sequences in which images morph, pan, and warp. For example, the sample project features a photo of a woman who morphs into the Mona Lisa, who then turns her head and winks. It sounds complex and difficult to achieve, but a bit of time spent playing with the program reveals that these types of effects aren't terribly challenging. The program's Help file is well-written and pretty thorough, although it would have benefited from the use of more screenshots to illustrate the features it describes. We did like the fact that there's a tutorial that explains the entire creation of the Mona Lisa sample project. Overall, we liked FotoMorph quite a bit. It does require a bit of experimentation, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy to use and a whole lot of fun.

UPSilon 2000 v4.1
UPSilon 2000 for Bright UPS monitoring and controlling software continuously monitors the status of the utility AC power and the UPS battery condition via the RS232 serial port in the UPS. Bright UPS will notify the UPSilon software when the AC source has failed and that the UPS is using the battery to support the AC output to the computer. Mangle-It C++ Obfuscator makes C/C++ code unreadable. Comments are stripped, symbol and file names are mangled, strings encrypted. A signature like "LPTSTR Translate( LPCTSTR psz )" is converted to "LPTSTR sXXXYYYXXYXXYX( LPCTSTR sXXXXYYXYYXXYX )", the string "Log" converts to "\x82\x88\x83\x85\x84\x83\x86\x82". Work in Debug and Release mode, command line operation allows incorporation into build scripts. An extensive list of over 150,000 library symbols that are excluded from mangling saves you time. UI allows for simultaneous viewing of source and mangled code, your source files are never altered. Easy to use project concept. Protect your intellectual property.
To use the sample project:
1)Unzip the Mangle-It Test.zip file that ships with the product. Any destination will do, but c:\test_src is preferable.
2)Create a destination folder where the mangled test code will be placed. Again, any destination will due, but c:\test_dst is preferable.
3)If you chose paths other than those suggested above, go to the Projects->Project Settings menu item and set the correct Source and Destination paths.
4)Select the Actions->Mangle Project "test" files menu item.
5)Mangle-It will obfuscate the test files. Inspect the mangled files - it is really cool! Compile and run the test project from the destination folder.
